NY & Co started a clothing rental subscription box service called "NY & Co Closet." As soon as I heard the news- I signed up! It's $49.95 a month for 3 pieces box and you get unlimited boxes in the month. I was hoping this would replace my RTR Unlimted program because from what I remember of shopping at the store- they had mostly work attire.

This was my first box. I only wore the shirt in the middle. I wore it to work with a skirt on a Friday with no suit jacket. It's been so damn hot that none of my clients are really wearing suits- so why should I? It was a cute top: it was flattering on and I didn't realize the print was parrots. Super fun!

The dress was a thick material and had an mesh-ish like over lay which had embroidery. It was not what I imagined. It looked really cute on the model but terrible in person. Here's a pic I pulled from the NY&Co Closet website and a pic I took myself of the material of the dress.

The last top I had high hopes for. It looked so pretty on the model. But when I got it- it looked different and somewhat cheap. Apparently my cat, Ripley like the blouse.

I'm giving this subscription a few more tries before I make a decision. They are a new company so I'm sure there will be changes. I'm happy to have found this service tho- renting clothes is so much better than buying! Well- that's my opinion anyways.

I usually will just do a monthly hair mask with coconut oil but since I have an abundance of essential oils, I make up my own concoction to fix my concerns: itchy scalp and damaged hair. I took 4 tablespoons of the oil and mixed in 4 drops of each oil: thyme, ginger, ylang ylang, lavender, peppermint, melaleuca, cypress and rosemary. Why did I pick 4 drops of each? I'm not sure- it just sounded like a good number.

I didn't make a video about this mask but I thought that I would share what was in my hair when I did my avocado and EO mask while I did a story time of when I met Leonardo DiCaprio. Enjoy!

When I hear the words "30 day challenge" I usually think it's "squats" or "planks." I've even heard the challenge is 30 days of no drinking or no sugar. But when I heard of a 30 day Sheet Mask challenge I was like "Sign me up!" I mean- why not? Take time out of my busy schedule to relax? And pamper myself- of course I want to do that.

The way way I look at it- it doesn't have to be a sheet mask (even tho we are calling it one). It could be a wash off mask, a DIY mask, foot, hand, hair, lip or eye mask. I plan to do some kind of mask every day for the month of August. Want to join me?!

LuxBodega.com is a high end designer shoe rental service that reached out to me and offered to send me a pair of shoes to rent in exchange for an honest review. I was so thrilled at the opportunity- I had been stalking them on social media for some time now. When I bought tickets to the Art of the Tease with Dita Von Tease I just knew this was the perfect event to test drive this service.

I'm super exited about this shoe service and now that I've tried them out, I can't wait to find another event to rent another pair of shoes to!!!

In week 12 of my #MakeupBagMonday I discovered a couple of dupes in my makeup collection that I'm thrilled to have discovered. Let me tell you about them.

Charlotte Tillbury (Legendary Muse $53) vs Elf (Need it Nude $10)
Pretty similar in color and almost identical in formula in my opinion. CT has 4 colors in the little palette and I was able to match 3 of them in my ELF palette.

Hourglass (Ambient Lighting Powder $63) vs ELF (Illuminating Palette $6)
Again the colors are very similar and the formula is almost the same. HG has 3 different colors and ELF has 4 which are almost comparable.

I remembered my makeup that day too. I was a special night so I wanted to look extra special that day. I washed and curled my hair, shaved my legs and did a full face of makeup to the best of my ability.

I loved my butterfly pin in the middle of my dress but what was I thinking with that pearl necklace?!

I wish I had my 1993 eyebrows... I hate my eyebrows now.
