We've already gone through 8 days of 2017 but I feel as today is when I feel like the year will start for me. I was away all week and I will be in my territory hitting it strong for this year starting tomorrow. I'm in my home office today preparing for the week ahead. I've already work out, ate breakfast and dropped off my LeTote at the post office and my RentTheRunWay at the UPS store. I was going to drop off my Switch at the post office as well but their office is in West Hollywood and they said I can drop it off in person and pick up my next piece. I'm pretty excited about that. Yay!

How my rentals works:

LeTote: I used to just drop off the "tote" at the post office in the bins but I learned from the LeTote FB group (LeTote Reviews and Discussion) that I'm in that if I have the post office scan it in, LT will be notified within a couple of hours and I will be able to customize my next tote. Normally LT's totes are 3 articles of clothing and 2 accessories. They made a recent change that you can do 4 pieces of clothing and no accessories for the same price. I just make that switch. This time around I picked two work tops to wear with my suit and a casual cardigan and sweater for the weekend. I can't wait to share it with you. I will probably keep the next tote for 5-10 days depending if all the pieces fit and work with my wardrobe. Finger crossed that I get my next tote on Friday.

RentTheRunway (the Unlimited program): You can rent 3 pieces of clothing/accessories at a time. There is no time limit on how long you keep each item. When you are ready to return a piece, you drop it off at the UPS store and once it gets back to the RTR warehouse, I get an email notifying me to choose another piece. They just opened up a RTR store in Topanga Village in Woodland Hills so if I'm close to there- I can drop it off there and immediately have the ability to choose another item on the app. I will be there on Thursday so I will drop off another piece this week. I usually wear an item a couple of times before I return it. That's about how long it takes for me to get bored of an item. The longest I've had a piece was 25 days. It was a black Derek Lam coat and I kept it so long because it went with everything! DL was in the mail today. I am definitely ready for something new.

Rocksbox: 3 pieces of jewelry picked by a stylist based on your style. When I sighned up for Rocksbox I took a style quiz and also marked a bunch of jewerly to my "wish list." From there, the stylist mails your 3 pieces (bracelet, ring, earrings or necklace). Once I receive them, I like to try it on and give feedback right away to let the stylist know what I love, like and dislike in the package. I wear them as long as I want and when I'm ready for something new- I just send it back through the mail. Rocksbox requires you to return all items all at once before you can get new items. I usually keep my box for about a week. I've been requesting statement necklaces and bracelets a lot lately. I'm having a lot of fun with them.

Switch: Another jewelry rental service but they have high end designer stuff like Hermes and Chanel. Right now I'm only doing 1 piece at a time but I may jump it up to 2 pieces. I usually like to keep these pieces for a 7-10 days but the last piece I've had for 3 weeks- I loved it so much. Valentino, leather with gold studs and turquoise. Not my thing or at least I thought but I wore it a lot.

These rental services have allowed me to minimize my closet and maximize my wadrobe at the same time. I've been able to experiment with fashion in a way that I never thought possible. It's definitly a new year and a new me! I can't wait to share with you my attire for the first work week of the year in my territory.
